Coaching without results is merely conversation. The role of the coach is to support the client in maintaining focus on clear, measurable results tied to organizational objectives. Results occur on two levels: (1) the client’s stated results and (2) the client’s growth in “capacity” or the ability to meet tomorrow’s challenges more effectively as a result of coaching.
