I see coaching as a focused conversation that gives rise to increased awareness, greater clarity, fresh insights, new thinking, personal learning and productive action that ultimately leads to the accomplishment of a particular goal or the resolution of a particular challenge.
My role in the conversation is to listen, question, guide reflection, encourage, challenge and support the client in coming up with their own ideas, options and solutions. Throughout the coaching journey I help my clients remain accountable to themselves for the actions they design in line with the changes that they want to make.
My coaching approach is based on the belief that we all have within ourselves the wisdom, resources and capability to achieve what we want from our professional and personal lives. Coaching helps to unleash our hidden potential by creating the time and space for the client to gain clarity about what it is they want to achieve and focus on the changes they need to make, the strategies they need to employ and the actions they need to take to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.
